Independents to swing 2008?

Joe Gandelman examines a new, comprehensive study of independent voters by the Washington Post in collaboration with the Henry J. Kaiser Family Foundation and Harvard University and finds:

[B]ad news for both parties, but better news for the Democrats:

(1) The Republicans continue to lose independent voter support.
